Velox Appoints Paul Sulisz as President
Leadership transition positions Velox for continued growth and long-term customer commitment.
HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — May 29, 2026 — Velox today announced the appointment of Paul Sulisz as President, a strategic leadership addition that strengthens the company’s operational leadership as it continues to grow and expand its service capabilities.
Sulisz brings more than two decades of leadership experience across telecommunications infrastructure, operations, engineering, and customer delivery. Throughout his career, he has led operational growth initiatives, large-scale customer delivery organizations, and business execution efforts across both domestic and international markets.
Most recently with GridSource, and previously holding senior leadership roles with Congruex, Sulisz has extensive experience leading organizations through operational growth, organizational development, and strategic transition initiatives.
As President, Sulisz will focus on strengthening operational execution, supporting continued growth, and ensuring Velox remains deeply committed to the responsiveness, quality, and customer partnership that have defined the company’s reputation.
This appointment is part of a broader, intentional leadership evolution designed to position Velox for its next phase of growth. As part of that transition, Tom Counts will move into the role of Executive Chairman, where he will continue supporting the company’s long-term strategic direction and customer relationships, while Jimmy Hall, previously President, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer.
“From the beginning, we have always believed Velox was built for long-term growth. As the business has continued to grow, we knew it would be important to intentionally strengthen our leadership structure in a way that increases our operational capacity while staying true to the values, culture, responsiveness, and customer commitment that got us here,” said Jimmy Hall,
Chief Executive Officer of Velox. “Paul brings significant industry experience, operational leadership, and a strong customer mindset that align extremely well with where Velox is headed and the type of organization we are continuing to build.”
According to Tom Counts, the leadership transition reflects a long-term focus on building a stronger and more scalable organization while maintaining the culture and customer commitment that have defined Velox since its founding. “Paul brings a tremendous amount of operational leadership experience to the organization, and I’m excited about what this leadership team can accomplish together over the coming years,” Counts said.
“Velox has built a strong reputation by doing things the right way and consistently delivering for its customers,” said Paul Sulisz. “I’m excited to join a team with a strong foundation, clear values, and significant opportunity ahead. My focus will be supporting the team, strengthening execution, and helping build on the momentum already underway.”
This leadership transition reflects Velox’s continued investment in building a scalable organization positioned for long-term success while remaining grounded in the principles that have shaped the company since its founding.
