Velox Vice President of Operations Harry Fox Retires

After 38 years in the telecom industry, the founding member and VP transitions into retirement

HUNTSVILLE, AL – (June 20, 2025) – Velox today announced the retirement of founding partner and Vice President of Operations Harry Fox, marking the conclusion of 38 years of devoted service to the telecommunications industry.

As one of the founding members of Velox, Fox brought decades of leadership and field operations experience. He was the driving force behind developing the operations team while structuring the company for growth. By ensuring each project met rigorous safety and quality standards, he helped position Velox as a trusted partner in telecom infrastructure.

“What began as a small team in Harry’s garage has become the Velox we know today, serving multiple engineering and construction projects across the country,” says President Jimmy Hall. “Having an operations expert like Harry on our team allowed us to structure our company for healthy growth and put us on an upward trajectory from the very beginning.”

Prior to Velox, Fox built a distinguished career with AT&T (formerly BellSouth), where he served in multiple leadership roles across Huntsville, Decatur and Indianapolis. His expertise spanned from field installation and repair to managing construction and engineering teams for multi-regional network deployments. As a US Army veteran, he brought leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence to every team he was a part of. His strong leadership was recognized with industry honors including the AT&T National Service Excellence Award and the Management System and Operational Control Southeast Champion Award.

Telecommunications contractor expands service offerings to optimize construction of fiber networks
